Dr. Oommen was a principal founder of Trumen Physicians and Associates in 2010. He has dedicated his career to providing high-quality patient care to patients in the post-acute and long-term care space. Dr. Oommen and his colleagues are responsible for growing Trumen to its current 75+ board-certified physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants, all of whom share his passion for providing excellent care to the aging population. A Houston native, he completed his medical training in internal medicine at Michigan State University and went on to complete a Geriatric Fellowship at the University of Hawaii in Honolulu. Dr. Oommen is board certified in geriatric medicine and is a Certified Medical Director through the American Medical Directors Association (AMDA) and an active member of AMDA – -The Society for Post-Acute and Long-Term Care. Over the years he has served as medical director for various facilities in the Greater Houston area. In addition to Dr. Oommen’s clinical and administrative duties, he serves as Clinical Assistant Professor for the Department of Geriatric and Palliative Medicine at The University of Texas Medical School of Houston. His commitment to excellence has been recognized and honored by his selections as Medical Director of the Year by Lifecare for the Gulf States Region in 2006, Medical Director of the Year for the Eastern Division for 2009, and nomination for AMDA Medical Director of the Year in 2009.

Dr. Lockhart joined Trumen Physicians and Associates in 2013. He has practiced medicine in Houston in the long-term care space since 1997, and has worked extensively in facilities as an attending physician and as a medical director. He received his medical degree from McGovern Medical School at UTHealth and is board certified in internal medicine. He is a Certified Medical Director through the American Medical Directors Association (AMDA) and an active member of AMDA – The Society for Post-Acute and Long-Term Care. Dr. Lockhart is dedicated to improving the quality of life for patients in long-term care.

Dr. Trumble cofounded Trumen Physicians and Associates in 2010. He started his medical training at The University of Texas Health Sciences Center Houston, followed by residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in geriatrics at Baylor College of Medicine. He is board certified in internal medicine, geriatrics, and hospice/palliative care. He is a Certified Medical Director through the American Medical Directors Association (AMDA) and an active member of AMDA – -The Society of Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine. Dr. Trumble is a practicing physician and medical director. He is dedicated to improving the quality and coordination of care in the post-acute arena.
